To join STC

Apply online from the STC website and pay by credit card.

Apply via mail using the member application form: PDF, 36KB or ASCII, 7KB.

Based on your address, the nearest chapter (Houston) will be assigned to you.

Fees

Annual fees are $125 for members ($140 for first-time applicants, which includes $15 enrollment fee) and $50 for students. Fees may be paid by check, money order, or credit card.

To learn about STC before joining:

• Attend a chapter meeting
• Visit a local public library and ask to see copies of Technical Communication, STC's quarterly journal, or Intercom, STC's monthly magazine.
