Local Benefits

In addition to the benefits you receive as an STC member, local membership provides you with access to the following additional benefits:

• STC Houston Website
  The STC Houston website provides access to local resources and information. While at the website, don't forget to visit the STC Houston Forums. Using the online forums is an easy way to stay on top of current events, employment opportunities, and announcements.
• Dateline Houston Newsletter
  As a member of our community, you will receive a copy of our local newsletter, Dateline Houston.
• Local Program Meetings
  The STC Houston community hosts monthly program meetings held at the Holiday Inn Select, 2712 Southwest Fwy (on 59 just southwest of Kirby). Program meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday evening of the month, every month except for February, July, August, and December. Program meeting agendas include networking time from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a program from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The monthly meetings are a great place to learn something new, pursue your professional development goals, and network with other technical communicators. • Houston Mailing List (ListServ)
  The STC Houston ListServ is a mailing list used to disseminate information to the STC Houston community. To subscribe or unsubscribe to the ListServ, please visit the Mailing List page.
