STC Houston Program Meetings and Webinars

STC Houston provides various education events throughout the year. These events include program meetings and webinars. We may also hold Lunch and Learn sessions as time permits. The program meetings provide both networking and educational opportunities.

From September through June, STC Houston provides an active calendar of education events. July and August tend to be quiet months as many members are on vacation and focused on time with their families.

Program Meeting Locations

Program meetings can occur at different locations throughout Houston. Be sure to review the details of each event and verify the time and location of each event. In 2010, we hope to meet at the American Red Cross, 2700 Southwest Freeway, for most of our program meetings.

Program Meeting Dates, Times, and Schedule

Program meetings are often held on the second Tuesday of the month.

• 5:30pm-6:15pm – Networking and light hors d’oeuvres
• 6:15pm-7:15pm – Presentation

This year, following each meeting, those who are interested will meet at a local restaurant for an optional social meal with our speaker of the evening, as schedules permit.

Individual Program Meeting Prices

• STC Houston Members: $15
• Non-Members: $25

6-Meeting Programs Package

STC Houston is offering a 6-Meeting programming package. You can pay for the package online via Paypal or at the program meeting when you arrive.

STC Houston Members:	$50 (members save $40 from individual meeting pricing)
Nonmembers:	$75 (members save $75 from individual meeting pricing)

2010-2011 Program Schedule

The program schedule for this year is still being developed and finalized. Topics are likely to include HTML 5 and CSS 3, Employment Knowlege Share, Using Wikis Effectively, Social Media, and Leadership.

Since details are still being finalized, please refer back soon for finalized meeting locations and details. We will attempt to rotate meeting locations throughout Houston.
